Mark Ritson, a leading figure in the world of marketing

With a BSc and PhD in marketing, Mark has spent the past 25 years teaching his unique method to MBA students at some of the world’s top business schools, including award-winning courses at London Business School, MIT and Melbourne Business School.

Not only has he taught on these prestigious programmes but his teaching has been widely acclaimed with Mark winning the teaching prize at each of these institutions.

He has worked globally as a private marketing consultant for clients such as Subaru, De Beers, Ericsson, Sephora, News Corp, Hennessy and Baxter

When does the course start?

We run two intakes a year, one in April and one in September. The April programme starts on 7 April 2026 and you will have access to the platform until 31 July 2026.

How does the examination work?

Our interactive exam, played out in just over a week. Allows you to put into practice the principals of the course, taking you step-by step through the creation of your own marketing plan.

The exam is not mandatory and those not participating in the exam will receive a certificate with their CPD hours rather than an exam grade.

Does the course cover digital marketing?

While there is not a specific module on the course dedicated to Digital Marketing, Mark does touch on different aspects of this during the core MBA marketing subjects. MiniMBA is designed to model the traditional content of the top business schools.

How does the Q&A work?

Students can submit questions at any stage during their study about the latest class and readings. Mark then answers all of these questions during the Q&A session which can also be accessed on demand or as a podcast immediately after it concludes.

Mark will answer most, if not all, of the questions during the session. The Q&A can be accessed on demand afterwards.

What are the time requirements?

Most students take around 3-5 hours per week to complete the Mini MBA in Marketing.

How many CPD credits do I get?

MiniMBA in Marketing course is accredited by the Continuous Professional Development Standards Office and you get 40 credits for completing the course.
